Once you have decided on a plan option , you need to consider whether you want a network or non-network plan . Let ’ s look at the differences .
Network vs non-network plans A network plan gives you access to a network of quality , private , healthcare providers ( including doctors , pharmacies , hospitals and other medical professionals ). These healthcare providers meet our stringent care standards and we have an agreement with them to charge a more affordable , negotiated rate .
A non-network plan allows you to visit a healthcare provider of your choice , but this freedom of choice comes at a price : A higher monthly premium .
