The Bonitas Back and Neck Rehabilitation Programme is tried , tested and proven to help you take back control .
As a Bonitas member , you may qualify for the Bonitas Back and Neck Rehabilitation Programme , which gives you access to functional rehabilitation for musculoskeletal conditions including back and neck treatment .
HOW DOES IT WORK ?
1 . The first step is an initial functional and biopsychosocial assessment by the DBC Family Practitioner .
2 . Next , interdisciplinary treatment sessions are provided twice weekly , for up to six weeks . The treatment team includes a GP , Biokineticist and / or Physiotherapist and the treatment consists of functional rehabilitation as well as pain management
3 . The program concludes with another functional and biopsychosocial assessment , again conducted by a Family Practitioner where prescribed .
4 . Treatment is followed by a maintenance phase , which consists of a functional assessment and home programme review . This can happen bi-monthly or as prescribed .
