A&M FOOTBALL GAMEDAY info Game weekends in Aggieland are an event unlike any other. In fact, around Bryan College Station, many call them a “weekend” instead of just a gameday because the festivities start Friday and run through Sunday. Some weekends, this community swells by more than 40,000 outside visitors – larger than some Texas towns’ entire population! Here’s a short insider’s guide on making the most of your Texas A&M football experience, but be sure to check out ExperienceBCS.com/gameday. Tip 1: Download the Destination Aggieland Phone App Free for download in the Apple Store (iPhone) and Google Play Store (Android), this handy app has just about everything you need for easy navigation, from a seating chart of Kyle Field to public pay parking lots near the stadium to postgame traffic routes. Tip 2: Parking Options Many lots near the stadium are for reserved season pass holders, and the closer you are to game time, the more likely the public pay lots near Kyle Field are going to be full. If you’re not unpacking an entire tailgate, consider options like the free “Get To The Grid” bus route, which runs from Momentum Bank Plaza to within a few hundred yards of Kyle Field! Visit transport.tamu.edu/BryanShuttle for information on the Bryan pickup location. Get some food or do some shopping in Downtown Bryan before catching a free shuttle to Kyle Field. There are 1,000 free parking spots in Downtown Bryan, or you can get a covered spot in the Roy Kelly Garage for a fee. Tip 3: GET READY TO MAKE THOUSANDS OF NEW FRIENDS! With a stadium that seats more than 100,000 fans, along with thousands of fans that just tailgate outside the stadium, your first game experience can seem like overload. But there’s a reason Texas A&M fans are called some of the friendliest in college football – regardless of your team affiliation, Aggies will always welcome you and be more than happy to answer your questions. Things to catch for the “full” experience: Midnight Yell (Night before the game at Kyle Field) Aggie Fan Zone (Starts 3 hours before kickoff) Aggie Band March-in (90 minutes before kickoff) Mobile Visitor Center - Experience BCS is in the Fan Zone! 40 2019-2020 EXPERIENCE BRYAN COLLEGE STATION
