Chamber Leadership Programs: Building, Keeping, Growing Community Leaders
Our Leadership Brazos program will graduate its 1,000th participant on May 20th. If you are interested in
participating in this program applications will be available at the June leadership luncheon on June 17th.
Applications will also be available on our website. Applications are reviewed by an anonymous committee
within the Chamber leadership. Applications are redacted with all personal information before the selection
committee receives their evaluation notebook. Great applications win – it is not the applicant. You can
download a copy of the 2015-16 Leadership Brazos application after June 17th.
The Leadership Brazos Alumni Association will kick off a campaign that will recruit members from graduating
class over the past 30 years so they continue to learn more about leadership and find ways to provide
scholarships for new LB applicants. A new continuing leadership program, LBAA website and social media
campaign will help this exclusive group find ways to help the Chamber support our community. If you are a LB
grad and want to reengage with the LBAA please visit the new website at www.bcscchamber/leadership or call
me at the Chamber.
The Jr. Leadership Program graduated on March 23rd at the College Station Hilton with Gen. Joe Ramirez of
the Corps of Cadets giving the commencement address. A special thank you and shout out goes out the Cal
McNeill with The Bank & Trust who has led JLB program for nearly 20 years.
