I use both depend on the genre and the mood

5. What is the key ingredient in a track?

breakdown? Style of production? Bassline?

I use chords mainly for deep house and very layered

back bassline. For afro deep I used mainly reverd percussions and

killer drums and I always have breaks inbetween my tracks. The rest

6.When building a track how do you normally work? Do you start with the drum and build from that?

Depend on the genre, for house I always start with beats and for deep house I prefer to start with chords.

7. Do you mainly use analog or digital soft synth sources? Do you think analog makes a different?

Digital soft synth work for me.

8. Any advice on monitoring? Quiet? Loud? Do you prefer flat and boring Speakers, headphones or Big, Phat and chunky monitors?

I only uses headphones.

9. what are the biggest barriers new producers face?

Personally I think it always wise to have another career you can always fall back on and to use support your goals as a producer cause I don’t believe some all the new and upcoming producer cant support their goals with only the money they earn on gigs.

10. How important do you think it is to have your music mastered commercially? Can you do it yourself as effectively and what tools would you recommend?

I prefer to do it myself then send it to good producer just hear their views. I normaly uses Izotope Zone 4 or RackS 3 Deluxe.

11. What do you believe is the secret to your success as a producer?

Taking my time when making any tracks.

12. Any advice for the aspiring producers out there?

They must be just be themselves and always strive to achieve their goals. And it always recommended to know the theory or music.
