Crafting in the community
Since opening the doors of their flagship craft store back in May, Crafter ' s Companion has been working closely with the local community to provide both facilities and education to various groups. There was an overwhelming response from craft groups, clubs and even schools both in the neighbourhood and further afield who wanted to see how they could work together, with many who have already utilised Crafter ' s Companion ' s large education area.
Seeing as there ' s such a demand for not only a place where people can come into the store to hold craft sessions but also for store staff to visit schools, clubs and charities to provide craft sessions, Crafter ' s Companion are calling out to other members of the community to enable them to do the same.
Their education area can hold up to 24 people in workshop format and 34 in demonstration format, so is a perfect size for larger as well as smaller groups. And it doesn ' t matter your age or ability level, there ' ll be something for everyone.
Crafter ' s Companion specialise in papercraft, home decor, sewing and haberdashery, and they also have a large kids crafts section.
They ' re also about to launch an exciting new adult colouring range, perfect for relieving stress and increasing positive mental wellbeing, so there ' s plenty of options available whatever your needs.
To talk about different options either pop in store and ask to speak to the store manager, Amy Rodger, drop her an email at amy. rodger @ crafterscompanion. co. uk or give the store a call on 01388 743763.
