It’ s a great honour and privilege to be able to confirm that I, along with 10 other people from the local business community, have been elected to the board of directors for the new Aycliffe Business Park Community limited company.
I believe it’ s an exciting new era for ABPC, and having a strong board with a vast skills set between it will only give the initiative some new momentum, as we look to build on the solid work of the last three years.
Over the next couple of months we’ ll be setting out our objectives for the next two years( read more about this on page 11).
Businesses will be able to meet the new board at the next news and networking meeting at the Xcel Centre from 8.15am on Friday 20th May. You can register to attend at www. aycliffebusinesspark. co. uk

Hi and welcome to the 22nd edition of Aycliffe Today Business for May-June 2016.
Launched in November 2012, we provide firms with a unique platform to tell everyone about their services and success stories in our prestigious, high-quality publication. winning local and regional plaudits with their varied and interesting array of services.
Meanwhile, Crafter’ s Companion reveal details of their new store opening( you can read more about that on pages 8 & 9).
On page 17, Jessie Joe Jacobs – the North East Field Director for Britain Stronger In Europe, the designated pro-EU cross-party campaign to secure a Remain vote at the EU Referendum on June 23 – tells us why she thinks staying in Europe is important to Aycliffe Business Park.
And on page 27, you can read about fast-growing firm ACB North East, which specialises in air compressors and blowers, and is aiming to establish a strong presence in Newton Aycliffe.
