Aycliffe Business Park is set for a 3,200 jobs boost.
AYCLIFFE ARCHITECT MERGES
A Newton Aycliffe-based architect
has merged his company with a
neighbouring firm in Darlington and
created new jobs in the process.
Blackwell Architectural Services – run by
Newtonian Jeff Blackwell – has joined
forces with ADG Architects, which has
been established in Darlington for more
than 30 years.

Blackwell is now a partner at ADG and
will work closely with partners John Bell
and Paul Kelly.
At the same time, architect Malcolm
Cundick has joined ADG as an associate
from his practice Alpha Plus: Architects,

Newton Aycliffe-based Collins Seafoods
has agreed a sponsorship deal with
Hartlepool Swimming Club.
