Bringing Aycliffe Business Park Together | 15 /NEWS HOLIWAYS SITE HEADING FOR A NEW START UNDER NEW OWNERS PRESTIGE CAR DIRECT PROPERTIES Contracts will complete this month on a deal that will bring a well-known commercial site back into use, following a deal brokered by Sanderson Weatherall on behalf of administrator KPMG. Horndale Business Centre, the former Holiways garage site in Newton Aycliffe has been sold to Yorkshire-based property development company, Prestige Car Direct Properties. The Bradford-based property development company plans to break up the 27 ,501 sq ft site into a variety of showrooms, offices, workshops and display land, with premises to be available to let ranging from 1,079 sq ft to the full 27 ,501 sq ft building. Jonathan Simpson (pictured at the site), partner at Sanderson Weatherall in the Tees Valley, has facilitated the sale and will be marketing the site going forward. He said: “This site is ideal for a variety of uses subject to planning including such uses as a car showroom, trade counter, gym, offices, workshops, storage and more. It is very versatile building and lends itself well to a carve up. “Aycliffe Business Park continues to go from strength to strength with the re-emergence of the building offering something a little bit different to the estate, particularly where the majority of recent take up has been of industrial and office space. “We are confident that there will be a lot of interest in the Horndale Business Centre. ” According to Chris Dacre, proprietor of Prestige Car Direct Properties, the site is
