Bringing Aycliffe Business Park Together | 29 Philip Carmedy-Pye (left), Diane Shakespeare and Dave Hall have joined forces to create Optimum Skills TRAINING EXPERTS JOIN FORCES Newly-launched Optimum Skills has joined forces with Sampson Hall to provide organisational development, change solutions and implementation of training strategies to grow business capability. From its new premises in St Cuthbert’s House, the new partnership is aiming to make a difference for business through utilising their collective experience to deliver quality results. This includes capacity building, skills development, succession planning and sustainability by preparing businesses for future challenges. The partnership is headed up by Philip Carmedy-Pye and Diane Shakespeare both directors of Optimum Skills and Dave Hall director of Sampson Hall. Philip said: “Our focus is to align business resources to meet an organisations objectives and goals with minimum disruption and maximum impact. Our clients can be assured they are working with a high quality partnership. ” The new partnership is well placed to provide a vast array of solutions to companies in the North East and throughout the UK. Dave said: “It is all about people that’s what matters to us; and we will go that extra mile to get the right outcome for whatever company we are working with. “Between us, we provide bespoke solutions to suit the needs of any company, large or small. We specialise in developing leadership capability at all levels, from executive levels through to first line management and onto the direct workforce, we can create a package to suit the needs of the business and what they want to achieve. ” Diane added: “Initially we want to meet the rising growth and increasing requirement within the engineering and manufacturing sector which is our speciality, but we will work with businesses from any back ground and deliver the right solutions for them, and we are able to get young people aged between 16 and 23 work ready by supporting them into modern apprenticeships. ” The new partnership pride themselves on the ability to deliver quality through their collective wealth of experience in the industry. They’ll ensure that all their people have the relevant industry background, and will work with the company to understand their products and processes so that the right solutions can be delivered to them. Philip added: “There are a lot of great companies on the park that we would love to work with; it is a great place to be at the moment. There is a real buzz about the place, the park is growing from strength to strength and this is definitely something we want to be part of and grow with it too. ” Dave added: “Geographically as a location, it is absolutely ideal for serving the whole of the UK due to its exceptional infrastructure, and literally we feel that Aycliffe Business Park is located in the centre of the UK – a great location to get to anywhere. “From our premises in St Cuthbert’s House, we have a range of professional training rooms that are available for local
