Doubling capacity has become something of
a habit for Tyne Tees Packaging (TTP).
The business was founded in 1982 when
Managing Director Gerard Wiper set up a
5,000 sq ft operation in Newton Aycliffe,
followed a few years later by a move to
premises twice that size.
TTP has since become one of the largest
independent manufacturers of corrugated
packaging in the North East, with a
£7
.5million turnover producing display and
retail packaging for end users as diverse as
gift boxes for Debenhams and Echo Falls, to
Sky Sports and Disney.
Skip forward 28 years and TTP has relocated
again, but not far, staying close to its original
base on the Heighington Lane Business Park.
Its new 70,000 sq ft facility also boasts
investment in the latest machinery which will
allow the business
