We have a current vacancy for a Distribution Operator based at our site
in Newton Aycliffe.
The successful candidate will work alongside an established
distribution team and will assist in the smooth and safe running of our
transport operations.
Duties will be wide ranging and will include the following:
• Day to day management of driving staff and resolution of issues.
• Driver de-brief and management of returning customer paperwork.
• Supervision of vehicle loading and driver start times.
• Computerised job processing (inc. pricing, IT import / export)
• Assist in training of Drivers in use of vehicle equipment.
Candidates must be able to provide a high level of customer service.
45 hours per week (hours 12-10pm) with a degree of flexibility.
Salary for this role will be dependent on expertise and experience.

CNC Programmer/Setter/Operators – Turning
46 Hours per week - £18.25 per hour (£43K+pa)
Additional overtime @ £22.50per hour
Generous travel allowance & contributory
pension scheme
Rotating 2 weeks x 12 hour days, 2 weeks x 12
hour nights (Monday-Thursday 7-7)

If you are confident in your ability to “hit the ground running”, able to programme
multi feature, complex components using Mazatrol controls, select the right
tooling, set and run a machine with minimal technical support, using your own
initiative to overcome technical obstacles, then this is the right role for you.
With support from our production & quality engineers, you will join a close knit
team who are responsible for the continued growth of ALM, gaining a sense of
achievement, recognition and reward along the journey.
Applicants for these key positions must be able to demonstrate the following skills
& attributes;
• Understanding of CNC Programming using Mazatrol conversational
programming.
• Familiar with the selection of correct turning inserts and grades.
• Experienced in cutting a wide range of exotic materials
• Easily Interpret drawings & tolerances in metric and imperial sizes
• Understanding of tolerances, geometric tolerances & surface finish requirements
• Able to use all precision measuring equipment
• Have a can do attitude and work well with others in a team environment
• Willing to work overtime when required to suit customer requirements
• Have an ability to train others or pass on knowledge i.e. apprentices
• Work range- 25 – 400mm diameter.
