Bringing Aycliffe Business Park Together | 5
INCLUDED IN THE MAY-JUNE
ISSUE OF AYCLIFFE TODAY
BUSINESS…
WELCOME
FOREWORD By Martin Walker
Welcome to the May-June
issue of Aycliffe Today Business
– a special issue.
This is the 10th edition of ATB, some 18
months since we launched. Some people
might have doubted there’d be enough news
going around Aycliffe Business Park to fill 16
pages every other month.
But, since starting with 16 pages in
November 2012, we’re now up to 36 pages
– more than twice our original size. We’re
featuring new faces every issue – there are
regulars, too, of course – and telling everyone
about all the exciting news and developments
that happen here on Aycliffe Business Park is
something I thoroughly enjoy doing.
To celebrate this 10th issue, we’ve included
some special new content which uses a
revolutionary App to bring the magazine to
life, Harry Potter-style! Read more about it
on page 7
.
New to the magazine in this issue are Upex
Electrical Distributors, Aycliffe decorating firm
Q-DEC, the University of Sunderland and hair
extensions company Lox of Love. Naturally, I
extend a warm welcome to all of them.
Our main feature is with South West Durham
Training CEO Trevor Alley, who is on a mission
to get more businesses to take
on Apprentices.
