CONTENTS

As acting chair and one of the board members of Aycliffe Business Park Community, we’ re eagerly looking forward to the seventh Make Your Mark Awards event at Hardwick Hall.

After the huge success of last year’ s awards, the event continues to grow in stature and significance, recognising innovation, resilience, leadership and the extraordinary contributions being made across Aycliffe Business Park and Newton Aycliffe.
From small start-ups making their first impressions to established names setting new standards, these awards are about championing the spirit of Aycliffe Business Park – a place where hard work, creativity and collaboration thrive.

making a difference.
We had a record number of nominations for this year’ s competition – and we’ ll have a record number of people in attendance on the night. So it’ s all shaping up to be a fantastic evening. Don’ t miss the 73rd issue of Aycliffe Business, due out in June, which will include full coverage of the winners and finalists.
This issue is a special edition focusing on skills and education, with the main feature covering the fantastic Aspire programme, which is being led by ABPC board members Sarah Monk and Thomas Prentice.
This issue also includes a feature on the last Business Breakfast event at Glow, which included a panel Q & A talking about skills in the workplace.
Please do get along to the next event at The Work Place on May 23 – details and a registration link is on the Aycliffe Business Park Community website.
We look forward to seeing you there! Pamela Petty Acting chair, Aycliffe Business Park Community
