Tees Business team delivers smash hit Aycliffe awards night

The sister publication to Aycliffe Business delivered a hugelysuccessful awards night on behalf of Aycliffe Business Park .

Resolution Media and Publishing – the team behind Tees Business – agreed a three-year deal with Aycliffe Business Park Community ( ABPC ) to deliver their Make Your Mark Awards , with the 2024 event being held in front of almost 250 people at Hardwick Hall Hotel .
And Aycliffe manufacturer Senstronics picked up a huge double win in a dramatic ceremony hosted by BBC Tees presenter Gary Philipson .
Resolution director Martin Walker said : “ We ’ re immensely proud to have delivered these awards , as most people who know me , know about my ties with Newton Aycliffe and how passionate I am about its business park .
“ It was also our first foray in to contract event delivery , so we ’ re delighted our debut external event was such a success .
“ Aycliffe Business Park often doesn ’ t get the recognition it deserves – but with 500 companies employing 10,000 people , and as the North-East ’ s largest business park , it ’ s a huge economic driver for the region – and a critical friend to Teesside .” Resolution has already established five key awards events in the Tees region , including the Tees Business Awards , Tees Businesswomen Awards , Tees Tech Awards , Best New Tees Business Awards and VelociTees .
“ As our stable of awards events has grown in recent years , we were delighted to be asked to deliver these awards for a different area , and which complement our existing events ,” added Martin .
“ And we ’ re confident our Resolution team – with the support of the Aycliffe Business Park Community board – will be able to build on the momentum of 2024 and establish Make Your Mark as one of the biggest business awards events in the North-East .”
Senstronics – which supplies transducers that use proprietary technology and techniques – beat off strong competition from BTS Facades & Fabrications , Primex Plastics and Husqvarna for the big award of the night .
