The Ode Of Rememberance was read by Tom Cropper, joint organiser, and this was followed by a two minutes silence at 11am, the Last Post, and then a toast by Ted. The Guest of Honour was then introduced, a remarkable man from a remarkable family of servicemen; Gordon McKeegan (pictured below left, on the right, next to Tom, Ted and Steve) is now 92 and has lived in Hua Hin for the last 14 years, volunteered at the age of 17, and rose to Colour Sergeant in the Guards Independent Company (Grenadier Guards).
