south korea South Korea introduces extra-large
parking spaces for women
Are women worse drivers than men? South Korea
certainly seems to think so. The capital city, Seoul, has
introduced larger parking spaces just for lady drivers
marked out in pink paint with a mini-skirted logo.
Apparently this is part of a $95 million to make the city
more friendly to women. These ‘lady-friendly’ parking
spaces, like disabled spaces, are closer to entrances and
lifts. That is not all – the city has also installed squishy
stiletto-friendly pavements near the spaces.
Not at all patronising.
usa Burger King car park flasher blames itchy
brozilian and bad flatulence for indecent exposure
What do you say if you are caught by the police naked in a
bush in a Burger King parking lot? Tough one one to talk
yourself out of… but we all like a trier. The ‘hero’ of this
tale came up with best answer he could when caught in
flagrante. He told police he was hiding naked in the bush
because he needed to fart – and didn’t want to do it in his
car. His elaborate excuses for his public nudity did not
stop there. Officers had contacted the man to follow up
on complaints that the flatulent flasher had previously
exposed himself while driving. His explanation for this
separate exposure was equally audacious. Our windy
pal claimed that his ‘brozilian’ wax had left his genital
area on the itchy side. For the uninitiated, a brozilian is
the male version of the all-off Brazilian wax, where the
hair is ripped from man’s most intimate parts, including
the testicles.
Officers refused to buy the excuse after checking his car
and finding a neatly folded blue towel on the driver’s seat
with an open packet of condoms on the passenger seat.
24-year-old David Foskette was subsequently charged
with a count of indecent exposure and booked into jail.
norway ‘Artist eats his own deformed hip’ after it’s
removed by doctors
A man has reportedly eaten his own hip after originally
telling doctors who removed it he was going use it for art
Alexander Selvik Wengshoel, from Norway, had the
deformed bone cut out four years ago and replaced with
a metal one. Prior to the operation he was only able to
move using crutches and a wheelchair.
The 25-year-old has now revealed he feasted on his
hip instead of using it in an art project as he originally
intended to. ‘I just wanted to
