Afghan Women attended the Small and
Medium Enterprises Development and
Promotion Course in Japan
Three Afghan women from AWCCI, Ms. Mina
Rezaiee, AWCCI Board of Directors member, Ms.
Aziza Baqery, AWCCI member and Ms. Farahnaz
Hakimi, Business Development Services Assistant
were introduced and attended the Small and Me-
dium Enterprises Development and Promotion
Course by Japan International Cooperation Agency
( JICA). This program took place on 2-19 Decem-
ber, 2019 at Tokyo, Japan with the purpose of devel-
oping professional improvement through business
acquisition and learning technical and professional
knowledge and skills. The total number of partici-
pants from Afghanistan in this training was 10 and
they were introduced by MOIC, AWCCI and some
other participated by public competition.
At the beginning of this training, Mr. Najibullah
Safi, Counselor and DCM for the Empassy of Af-
ghanistan Islamic Republic to Japan welcomed all
trainees and expressed his hope for Afghans more
participation in the future programs in Japan.
During this training, participants learned about Ja-
pan’s history, culture and traditions of Japan people,
religions and their actions after wars. Besides, they
had a chance to visit Fuji Sera Company (Produc-
tion of screws and other kinds of electrical products),
Taca Noko (Sesame Oil), Toyota (car production),
Flour production company, black garlic production
company, and tomato production company.
At the end, participants received participation certif-
icate by the Head of JICA in Nagoya, Japan.
