Handing “Made by Afghan Women” trademark certification to businesswomen Handing the second and third round of “Made by Afghan Women” trademark certification held on October 31, 2019 at main office of AWCCI. 11 businesswomen received the MBAW trademark in the first round on March 12, 2019 in presence of the H.E. First Lady and other national and international guests by the First Lady and now 4 businesswomen from second round and 13 businesswomen from third round received the certification after completing the requirement. It is worth mentioning that businesswomen who are in Kabul received their certifications and the rest of them will receive their certifications in their provinces. Ms. Afsana Rahimi, Chair of AWCCI started the program with welcome notes to businesswomen and besides she congratulated them for getting certification of MBAW trademark. Afterwards, Ms. Rahimi said that this trademark represents the quality of production and capacity of business women, and those who receive the cer- tification must strive to achieve its essential goals. Later on, Ms. Parwarish Oryakhail, Business Development Services Director of AWCCI highlighted the MBAW trademark basic objectives, standards and process of re- ceiving and she also delivered a presentation about the second and third round of MBAW trademark certified ones. After that the certificates were handed to businesswomen by Ms. Rahimi. At the end, a small exhibition of MBAW certified companies was organized and attendeed had the opportunity to visit them.
