Highlight of AWCCI-South Zone Activities in this quarter
Kandahar three days Exhibition
On November 13, 2019 a three days Exhibition
held with the cooperation of AWCCI by Minis-
try of Industry and Commerce at Aino Mina Park,
Kandahar.
At the opening of exhibition, Mr. Aliuddin, Ha-
midi, the Director of Industry and Commerce; Ms.
Zahra Zahid, Zone Manager of AWCCI-South
Zone, Mr. Abdul Hanan Monib, Deputy of Kan-
dahar Governor; Ms. Ruqia Asekzai, Director of
Kandahar Women Affairs, Ms. Friba and Ms. Enjila
from WEE-RDP, MRRD; Mr. Haji Amir, Direc-
In this exhibitions, the products such as Kandaha-
ri carpets, handmade Scarves, Afghani tradition-
al cloths, dresses, Kids clothes, handmade bags,
decorations materials such as vase, bed cloth, dry
fruit, and traditional meals were exhibited which
all of them sold with a reasonable price. At the end,
businesswomen who participated in this exhibition
thanked AWCCI and MOIC for providing such
opportunity.

In this exhibition, more than 1400 Kandahar wom-
en participated, visited and bought from the exhi-
bition’s booths. Businesswomen who participated
in this exhibition expressed their satisfaction for
the sales of their products and asked for providing
such opportunities and permanent exhibitions in
the future.
