Sarbeland Mir Handicrafts
Menhas Mir, President
Ms. Menhas Mir is the President of Sarbe-
land Mir Handicrafts Company. She is
working in Handicrafts sector. Ms. Mir was
born in Kabul and she is living in Moman-
dara, Nangarhar now. She continued edu-
cation up to collage and due to the financial
problems she couldn’t continue her higher
education.
During the war decades and immigration,
she got the classes of handicrafts produc-
tion trainings and after returning to Af-
ghanistan she started business in this sec-
tor. business expansion and development. Some of
them are like Juma Bazaars in the country, In-
dia and Turkey exhibitions abroad. One of the
main goals of this company is to export prod-
ucts with international stansards for promot-
ing made by Afghan women products. Ms.
Ms. Mir established Sarbeland Company
on 2009 and currently 40 women and one
man is working in this company. She has
participated in many exhibitions for her Menhas Mir wants other women to believe
themselves and build their future by them-
selves.
