Part two of AWB’ s two-year emphasis on expanding trade ties with partners in the U. S.- Mexico-Canada( USMCA) trade agreement took place in June, when we led a delegation across the border.
The trade mission started in Vancouver and continued to Ottawa where the delegation met with Canadian trade officials.
Washington producers exported $ 1.3 billion in agricultural goods to Canada in 2023

In May, employers from around the state gathered in Vancouver to discuss everything from the economy and elections to artificial intelligence and the legislative session.
Paul Eitelman, senior director and chief investment strategist at Russell Investments, kicked a program that also included a statewide political panel discussion featuring journalists from the Washington State Standard, and political strategists from both parties.
Civic health took center stage in a discussion with Lt. Gov. Denny Heck and former Secretary of State Kim Wyman, moderated by political reporter Austin Jenkins, and the day wrapped up with a keynote address featuring political experts Kate Bedingfield and David Urban.
