Abseil, Dundee University Tower To secure your place in an amazing fundraising group that will abseil from the University Tower in Dundee please get in touch soon. We are delighted that MND Scotland will be supported by this prestigious event. A wide range of quality retailers selling clothes, gifts and accessories will be in the Pavilion and space to relax with refreshments in Dundas Castle.

Great Scottish Run Half Marathon and 10K Be part of Scotland’s biggest road race through Glasgow.
Sunday 8th September
Pedal for Scotland This is an annual event attracting thousands of cycle enthusiasts. The classic 47 mile Glasgow to Edinburgh ride uses a mixture of safe closed roads, cycle paths and quiet streets. Enjoy a fantastic community atmosphere to raise sponsorship for us.
Sunday 29th September
Loch Ness Marathon MND Scotland is honoured to be one of a small group of Lead Affiliate charities for the Loch Ness Marathon 2013. There are a number of guaranteed places available so please get in touch if you want to be part of Team MND Scotland.
Sunday 20th October
Antonine Trail Race We are charity partner for this 13.8 mile trail race using the trails and paths following the route of the Roman Antonine Wall around the River Kelvin area. It will follow new trails and paths through Bar Hill Forest, Croyhill, and Dumbreck Marsh. Why not join in?

Sunday 15th September
Fun Run and Sponsored Walk, Holyrood Park, Edinburgh This is the east coast version of the Fun Run that took place in May. It’s a chance to get sponsored to walk, jog or run the 5km course around Arthur’s Seat – T-shirts and medals for all entrants.

RAF Leuchars Charity Golf Day, Drumoig Golf Resort RAF Leuchars Golf Club is holding a Golf Day in aid of MND Scotland. Contact [email protected] to find out how to take part.
Friday 7th March 2014
Cornflower Ball, Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow The Cornflower Ball promises to be a social extravaganza of wining, dining and dancing. This event aims to raise funds to deliver our essential care and information services. More information will soon be on our website at www.mndscotland.org.uk and in the winter edition of Aware.
Sunday 6th October
Cumbrae Cycle Cycle (or walk) round the island of Cumbrae, starting and finishing in Millport. Ferry fares, bus fares on Cumbrae and cycle hire will be paid by MND Scotland. Please contact us to enter and get sponsor forms.

Annual Cumbrae Cycle Ride
6th October
Join hundreds of MND Scotland supporters on the 10 mile cycle ride round the beautiful Isle of Cumbrae, off the coast of Largs. It’s a continually growing cycle event (you’re more than welcome to walk). All you have to do is raise money via sponsorship and we will pick up ferry fares, bus fares to the starting point at Millport, and provide free cycle hire for you.
