St Patrick’s Day dancers
Jennifer Roxburgh and all at Siamsoir Irish Dance Club held a St Patrick’s Day dance event at The Jam House, Edinburgh, raising £600 to fight MND.

Big business bucket collections
Staff at Morgan Stanley held a bucket collection in central Glasgow during MND Awareness Week, and raised £678.42. This was another great effort during awareness week.
Catch up with our Women’s 10k participants
The Bupa Great Women’s 10k is the biggest women-only 10k in the UK – and we were very happy indeed to be there to meet and greet all those who took part in the race in aid of MND Scotland.
Diving with sharks
One of MND Scotland’s special events during Awareness Week attracted 6 brave fundraisers to swim with the sharks at Deep Sea World in Fife.
10K runners joining forces
Family and friends of George Reid took part in the Baker Hughes 10K in May raising £3,080 in memory of Hilda Reid.
Weekend of running at Scotland’s capital
Congratulations to all the runners who took part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival of Running for MND Scotland. We had runners in the 5k and 10k on Saturday, and then the marathon and half marathon on Sunday – thank you all so much!
Ben Nevis fundraisers
Erica Noone and friends recently conquered Ben Nevis and raised over £700 in the process. Richard Dawson and friends travelled from Liverpool, in MaNDy the Taxi, to Ben Nevis as part of the Big MND Race during MND Awareness Week – more info and photos can be seen at www.bigmndrace.com
Special celebrations and memories
Dave and Helen Smith celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on 1st June and asked guests to contribute to MND Scotland in remembrance of Helen’s father-inlaw who died in 1974 from MND.
