2 018 C E N T U R I O N S ® BONNIE BROWN First time to hit CENTURION®! I am feeling thrilled and blessed and thankful to God! In September of last year, I went to Jennifer Grimes, my regional manager, and I said “I want CENTURION®.” Jennifer said “Great. Let’s get started.” I said, “For 2017.” She said, “We better hurry!” Talk about putting the old jalopy in high gear! This old gal got into passing gear and I must have believed I was a brand-new red Corvette revving up in the SMU parking lot! BELIEVE! That’s right, BELIEVE. One of the most important words in our language. Well, between my BELIEVE and both Jennifer and L.D. pushing me, encouraging me and holding me accountable, last year was an incredible year for me in business with achieving both my highest AGC production year and largest individual transaction to have ever closed of $1.4 million on a land deal for residential development. Over the years of my real estate career, from the information/consulting side of the business to now the brokerage side, I have been blessed to have been associated with the very best among the best. From Roddy Information Services, Foreclosure Listing Services, Kelley-Lundeen, Swearingen Realty Group, to my Home Sweet Home here at CENTURY 21 Judge Fite Company. I am ready and looking forward to making more real estate dreams come true for my home buyers and scoring real estate victories for my investors. However, none of this would be possible without my Why: (2 kids in college need tuition money!), my husband (L.D. Vinson), our daughters (Ashley, Jessie, & Brandie), my Judge Fite family, and the One above taking the wheel! CHRISTINA KANG I often joke that I’ve been practicing my entire life to be a REALTOR®. While my friends were all flipping burgers, I was honing my people skills doing social work and problem solving, such as helping constituents thread their way through the federal bureaucracy as a congressional aide. After college, I worked for several years as a paralegal, and became a stickler on contracts. When my son was born, I became an appraiser as I was drawn by my need for flexible hours. While I’ve only been doing this a few years, I’ve been practicing a very long time! Because my Judge Fite family helped me when I was a new agent, I spend a lot of my time working with new agents and helping them find their own path to success. My secret to success was apparently an ADHD approach to career development, and a lot of job hopping! But seriously, I’m thoroughly convinced everyone just needs to find their own strengths and then leverage them to their client’s needs. When you adjust your goal from making the sale to making your clients the priority, anything is possible! 17
