Key Stage 3
Year 7 have begun RE by exploring what R.M.E (Religion, Morals and Ethics) actually is. We have explored
different religious perspectives and non-religious perspectives on the creation of the world and students have
begun to explore their own perspectives and develop their opinions. For the remainder of the Autumn Term
they will be exploring the ‘Rise of Christianity’ and how it brings hope to people in times of need.
Year 8 have been delving into the topic of crime and punishment; exploring the causes of crime and how and
why we punish. Rugby Youth for Christ have been coming in to class to discuss Christian perspectives on
Crime and Punishment to further enhance learning.

world; beliefs in the afterlife; the life and death of Jesus and sin and salvation. In addition, Rugby Youth for
Christ have discussed, and completed activities, with the students to further enhance their learning on who
Jesus was and his significance to Christians.
