Back in the summer of 2018, the French Air Force officially retired the venerable Dassault Mirage 2000N. First flown in 1986, the Mirage 2000N formed the basis for France's strategic nuclear deterrent forces, replacing the Mirage IVP. The Mirage 2000 saw combat action in several conflicts including Operation Enduring Freedom, operations over Libya, and the fight against ISIS.
