As 2021 trudges on, we are starting the see the glimmers of hope that we may be beginning the long journey out of the global pandemic. One of those promising signs is the start of air show season and with that, we get to celebrate aviation together again. While shows won't necessarily be the same for some time, we'll take what we can get! In fact, APJ Chief Correspondent Ricardo von Puttkammer is in Florida as we go to press to cover SUN 'n FUN.
As we (hopefully) prepare to reengage on a number of exciting projects that were put on hold due to Covid, we are still able to bring you great aviation content in the pages of APJ. In this issue, we look back at some of the air shows that did manage to get off the ground in 2020, including the New York International Air Show, Ocean City Air Show and Air Show London (Canada). We also take a look back at Exercise Ample Strike (2018) and 2019's Oshkosh and SUN 'n FUN. As SpaceX and NASA grab headlines, we also take an inside look at the testing of NASA's Orion Spacecraft.
We hope you and your families continue to be safe and healthy!
