Topside / Bottom side - Hornet 100 being sent by Capt. Caleb ‘Tango’ Robert. The Canadian Forces held an open contest to design the paint scheme for the upcoming RCAF 100 celebration. This winning design was designed by MCpl Kevin Kelly an avionics tech. Over 4000-man hours went into the paint job expertly executed by technicians at 4 Wing Cold Lake, Alberta. The paint represents four main themes: Innovation and technology, Air Power, Our People and Heritage and History.
