Phew! It has been a blockbuster few months here at Aviation Photojournal! We finally have a minute to breathe and bring you not one, but TWO issues to close out 2016! This issue, brings you our signature in-depth coverage of several top air shows including NAS Oceana and the New York Air Show in addition to a phenomenal piece from renowned aviation author and APJ Correspondent David F. Brown commemorating 10 years since the retirement of the venerable F-14 Tomcat.
But, as they say, that's not all! We also published our first ever Special Issue dedicated to our heroes over at the US Coast Guard who are celebrating their centennial of aviation. Our in-depth coverage takes you to several Coast Guard air stations and into the air on several missions from the waters of Lake Michigan down to the Gulf of Mexico. We hope you enjoy reading the Coast Guard aviation story as much as we were honored to tell it.
We sincerely thank all of our readers for a great 2016, and wish you all a happy, healthy and prosperous holiday season and New Year. We can't wait for 2017!
