Warbird Thunder Airshows’ lead pilot Chris Thomas and wingman Mike “Buick” Eberhardt bring decades of formation and airshow experience to the team. Chris, a third-generation aviator with over 21,000 hours, is a major-airline captain and former GEICO Skytyper Right-Wing and Operations Officer. Mike “Buick” Eberhardt, a 22-year Naval Aviator with more than 20,000 hours, flew the F-14 and A-4, performed with top civilian jet teams, and spent 15 years with the Skytypers. Together, they form one of the most seasoned and precise two-ship formations on today’s airshow circuit.
