The Military Aviation Museum in Virginia hosted a special "Me 262 Stormbird Roll-Out and Flight Event" on May 10, 2025, at Chesapeake Regional Airport.
This highly anticipated event marked the first public appearance and flight demonstration of the museum’s Messerschmitt Me 262 replica since its return to flight. Attendees had the rare opportunity to see the aircraft up close, including a unique tow by a Kettenkrad, before witnessing the museum's chief pilot Mike Spalding take it to the skies.
