2024 was another epic year for the air show industry. As millions across the globe were amazed by the action in the air at these spectacular events, Aviation Photojournal was there to capture much of it. What better way to celebrate the 2024 season than with our biggest, most MEGA issue ever. Featuring coverage of 23 US and 7 Canadian air shows plus several other aviation events from the past year this year-in-review issue includes contributions from several amazing photographers. We also celebrate our collaboration with Aviation Photocrew, who provided exceptional air-to-air photographs celebrating Major Sam "RaZZ" Larson's final year with the F-22 Demo Team.
This year marked the farewell of both the A-10C Thunderbolt II Demo Team and the Canadian CF-18 Demo Team. The Viper Demo Team honored 50 years of the F-16 with a new paint scheme inspired by the prototype colors from 1974. We also celebrated the centennial of the Royal Canadian Air Force. 2025 promises to be another outstanding year for air shows and aviation as a whole. 2025 also marks a huge milestone as Aviation Photojournal celebrates its 10th anniversary! Thank you for being on this journey with us and enjoy the MEGA issue!
