The shots that defined RIAT 2025 Part I
RIAT 2025 at RAF Fairford once again united the world of aviation in a celebration of precision, power, and pride. From high above in the iconic Pink Skyvan, the Aviation PhotoCrew captured the moments that defined this year’ s edition— images where motion met emotion in perfect balance.
The USAF F-35 Lightning II tore through the skies with stealth and strength, a symbol of cutting-edge airpower. Below, the Royal Jordanian Falcons painted the blue with perfect symmetry, their smoke trails weaving artistry and discipline together. The Czech Air Force Gripen impressed with its sleek agility, every bank and roll framed against sum- mer light. From the helicopter world, the Portuguese Merlin hovered with quiet assurance, a portrait of capability and calm. In contrast, the Qatari C-17 Globemaster III filled the frame with mass and might— the essence of global reach. The German Tornado brought nostalgia and thunder in equal measure, while the French E-3F Sentry circled overhead, embodying the 2025 theme:“ Eyes in the Skies.”
