In addition to their aerial work, the Aviation PhotoCrew collaborated closely with pilots and display teams on the ground. They organized detailed static and taxi‐out photoshoots, often at sunrise or sunset, taking advantage of the distinctive light conditions at Tanagra. These sessions produced striking portraits of the aircraft and their crews, revealing the personalities behind the displays and giving aviation fans a closer look at the people who bring the event to life.
The Aviation PhotoCrew also became a valuable resource for the wider aviation community attending the show. Many photographers appreciated the opportunity to observe the team at work and learn about the planning, communication, and safety procedures required for successful air‐to‐air operations.
