Mk2 standard further advanced Tanagra’ s capabilities, adding new avionics and MICA missiles and strengthening its NATO reputation. The 2020s introduced the Rafale F3R, reactivating 332 Squadron as Greece’ s first Rafale unit and positioning Tanagra at the forefront of Greek airpower. Today, Tanagra is home to 331 Squadron“ Theseus,” operating the Mirage 2000‐5 Mk2, focused on air defense and interception and 332 Squadron“ Geraki,” now operating the Rafale F3R, providing advanced muority capabilities. Since 2017, Tanagra has also hosted AFW, becoming a cultural hub for aviation enthusiasts.
