Welcome to Yerevan

Yerevan Basics :

Entertainment Places

During the summer, Yerevan Water World , with its pools and water attractions, is a great place for leisure. There are food and beverage stands as well as a restaurant. During winter time, the largest pool of the park is turned into an ice skating rink. The indoor

water park is known as Aquatek , which is a great family recreation place with pools and water slides for children. Aquatek is open all year round without holidays. In Play City , one can find a variety of services and entertainment gathered in one place: karting, bowling, buggy, game machines, 7D cinema, bumper-cars, mini golf, paint ball, billiards, as well as a restaurant and cafe-bar, where one can organize parties and corporate events.

Between Water World and Play City, the Yerevan Botanical Garden is found. It holds a rich collection of trees and shrubs with more than 1070 species, dendrite flora of the Caucasus and Cyprus, North America, Europe, Siberia, and East Asia. The collection of Armenian flora includes around 200 species of endemic, rare, and declining plant species. There are also more than 300 varieties of roses. The Yerevan Zoo is also a nice leisure zone. It is home to about 2749 individual animals representing 204 species. Species that represent the South Caucasus and Armenia include brown bears, Bezoar goats, vipers, Armenian mouflon, and black vultures. Other species at the zoo from around the world include lions, tigers, hyenas, and an Asian elephant named Grant.
