of her husband Kevin's music career, and together they founded Tarakon Records. Not only does the record label produce the SOCA star's personal music projects, but it also develops and produces artists from all over the Caribbean, as well into South America and other parts of the world. Tarakon has partnered with Sony Ultra and Universal EME to give wider opportunity and exposure for up and coming artists. Instead of being locked into restrictive distribution deals, or being locked out of distribution all together, Lyttle and her label are trying to level the playing field for rising new talent. "We've created an entity in which an artist can showcase a larger collection of songs and make them available to, and more importantly, discoverable by fans through a much larger distribution network." She explains. "We can provide everything in house... creative production, distribution, revenue collection, legal representation, and marketing, all under one umbrella for a very reasonable and fair cost to the artist so they retain the majority of the money they earn from their music. It is the ultimate farm. It's a win-win for everyone!"

And as if all of the above endeavors weren't enough to keep the Lyttles busy, they also own and operate a restaurant in their native town of Kingston in St. Vincent. The Lyttles are also big believers in giving back to their community and do a lot of philanthropic work around the Miami area, as well as in their native Caribbean homeland. One of their more passionate charitable endeavors is raising money for heart disease and support services for the Janice Lyttle Foundation, a charity organization that the couple founded in memory of Kevin's late mother that brings much needed help to the people of St. Vincent. The Foundation donated over half million US dollars worth of supplies and equipment to the Milton Cato hospital in St. Vincent and the Grenadines following the devastation and destruction brought by Hurricane Thomas in December 2013, and facilitated a mission in 2018 with the Starkey Foundation to provide hearing aids to people that need them. The mission will continue all through 2019 as they try to accommodate as many hearing-impaired people living in the island's towns and villages as they can. So with all of Jacqueline James-Lyttle's accolades, schooling, business endeavors, and philanthropy, how on Earth did she find the time and manage to marry one of SOCA music's biggest pop stars? "We actually met back in St. Vincent in high school when we were both thirteen." Says Lyttle. "Kevin told me that when he turned (Continued)
