Model DAHABO HAJI was a tomboy most of her youthful life. Who would have thought that a girl who preferred kicking around a soccer ball and wrestling with boys as opposed to chasing them, would blossom into such a beautiful feminine flower. A native of Somalia on the far western central horned coast of Africa, Hagi left her homeland and came to the United States to seek out her version of the American Dream... to become the world's first petite Somali Muslim super model... and to be able to take care of her mother and family that she left back home in her country. It would certainly seem that she is well on her way to doing just that, as she is a current a rising star in both modeling and acting in Hollywood, and has appeared in countless productions & campaigns. It took us a mere 3 or 4 minutes to discover that she is not only quite fearless, but she has a natural charismatic charm that beams like a golden ray of sunshine... which completely makes sense when you learn that her name... Dahabo... means gold in her native language of Somali Arabic. When she is relaxing and away from the camera, she enjoys traveling, watching and playing soccer, and she absolutely loves Sushi... something she didn't have back home in her country. She loves exercising and staying fit and believes it is incredibly important to treat your body like a temple. Her personal philosophy and advice to people... "Love, create, work hard, and do what you love! Always smile, remain positive, and never take life for granite because tomorrow is not promised." Such wise and great advice indeed! We absolutely loved working with her during our 2020 swimwear shoot and are eagerly anticipating more golden moments from her in the year ahead!
