It is an unique opportunity to inspire, educate, and connect on a global scale. The National Laser Centre and Photonics Initiative of South Africa supports this competition. FAPS Hon. AFB as well as the Chief Researcher and Research Group Leader CSIR, National Laser Centre South Africa, Professor Andrew Forbes PhD. Results and awards The winning entry will be awarded a cash prize (sponsorship details have yet to be finalised) and the AV Makers Gold medallion. Silver and Bronze Medallions will be awarded to runners-up. Certificates of Merit may be issued on the recommendation of the judges.
