M.objects
Dr Henk Tulp
The AV software M.objects for High resolution projections is now available in the
new version V5.1. It has a new way of rendering which makes it possible to
optimise the use of the graphic card and the latest processors. M.objects is even
more intuitive and effective than ever.
The main reason to 'remake' the way of rendering is based upon the properties
of the ATI and NVidia Graphic chips. Some types of graphic cards especially the
NVidia gave us problems which we have now solved.
The way people arrange their images over the tracks is now answered. Now you
can turn off one or more tracks. If you drag images into the projection tracks it will
not use the tracks that you have shut down. This is very handy if you want to use
a certain track maybe for using text images or for a panorama or whatever you
want.
You can very easily drag and drop images direct on a projection track out of
the light desk or windows explorer. Swopping images in the projection track is
even easier. Just click upon a grey square, hold the left mouse and drag the
images to the one you want to swop. Besides that it's now possible to change the
dissolve and standing times for more than one image at the same time.
The control of the tools has been improved. In combination with the m.objects
text generator this is a real improvement and it makes it easier to change the
positions of a image.
The rotate and image tools make it easy to correct tilted horizons and you only
need one or two mouse clicks to get the job done. Also using the Shift key you
can proportionally change the size; make it bigger or smaller or carry out exact
horizontal or vertical movements. Finally you can generate an exe file and use a
variety of passwords or expiring dates.
