It was pleasing to see a 'political' sequence relating to the Olympics - this
was packed with information and we were left with no doubt as to the
message of the author!
Once the MPAGB sequences were shown, the skills of the 'Masters' were
evident by the high quality of the work and in the event one of the applicants
was successful on the day. The third image was not seen in great abundance
during the day save for some excellent examples in one of the MPAGB
sequences involving Icelandic landcapes.
The day was over at just after 5pm and it was conducted in a friendly and
relaxed manner. The organisers of the event are to be congratulated on the
smooth running. The successful applicants were as follows:

It all started when some AV friends in South Africa recognised that there was a
lot to learn in AV, but that being so geographically spread, there were fewer
opportunities for them to meet face to face than we perhaps have in the UK. With
the lack of any books on how to make AV sequences, the suggestion was to use
the web to help share ideas on AV production.
Many people know about Wikipedia, but what I wasn't aware of was the ability
to create your own Wiki in 'Wikispaces'. So I set up a site and over a couple of
