AV News 177 - August 2009
For Sale

Until 2008 I was a member of the AV Group. I relinquished my membership as
I was finding the equipment too much for me to carry around and I did not want
to convert to digital. It was quite a descision to give up AV and turn to 'ordinary'
photography. Still I have had a lot of fun making sequences over the last 20
years; I have made some 40+ dual projector sequences. (I do have a memory
of a single projector show using a tape recorder with music and commentary,
shown in around 1955 using a stop watch to time the slide change).
Digital AV does seem a lot easier - perfect sync and line up of images and
very good quality. Anyway I do not want to be sitting at a computer screen for
my hobby, I spent 25 years in the computer industry!
The equipment for sale is listed below, I may consider splitting some items
and I also have a little subroutine which I used as a time sheet. I can let the
buyer have it on a floopy disk or they could bring a memory stick.
Wishing the AV News and the Group all the best in the future.
