It never ceases to amaze me, the friendship
and hospitality within our Audio-Visual fraternity
is almost legendary. It's often remarked upon
by attendees at AV days across the country just
how friendly and helpful our group members are
towards others.
Recently I had the great privilege of
presenting an evening's talk to members of
Essex Audio-Visual Group at Rayleigh; where,
due to their politeness, not many actually fell
asleep. My accommodation and meals were
kindly provided by Mike and Viv Whoolnough at
their lovely home in Tiptree.
Yes that's the chap, Mike Woolnough of
Imatronic fame who really should have been a
celebrity chef. Mike and Viv were superb hosts and have a wonderful
arrangement; Viv does all the gardening and Mike does all the cooking and what
a splendid job they each do, Alan Titchmarsh and Gordon Ramsay lookout.
