AV News 196 - May 2014
Output choices are wide and
flexible. They do reflect the move
towards high definition video and
web usage. There is an option to
make a stand alone file that will
play on the Mac. Exe files that will
play on a PC are not available.
When I showed the software to the
North Wales and Wirral AV group,
experienced AV workers were
impressed
with
the
many
similarities in its functions to
PicturesToExe.
I am not familiar with the most
recent versions of PTE thus
cannot comment more than to say
that Fotomagico looks to be a
useful and flexible piece of
software.
It is certainly worth exploring as a piece of software written specifically for the
Mac which integrates with one's files and other editing software. A trial
version can be obtained from http://boinx.com/fotomagico/
Purchase can be from the web site or via the App store. Pricing is similar
to PTE.
