But I have to say that if my audience is more discerning, I take along my full
range speaker system. For audiences who are only concerned with clarity,
rather than frequency response, the Minirigs do a great job.
But there was still the bulky stand. With nothing suitable commercially, I
decided that I'd have to make my own. I purchased a music stand from our local
branch of 'Maplins' (£12), removed the music holder and replaced it with a ball
& socket head with quick release. Using the base of a redundant copy stand,
the socket of which fitted the bottom section of the stand perfectly. I now have
a table that accommodates ^H\
