Saturday 6th & Sunday 7th December :‘New Horizons’ and ‘Great Northern’ Competitions
The inaugural ‘New Horizons’ competition takes place on the Saturday,
starting in the morning & running into part of the afternoon, depending on
number of entries. We hope that the entrants to this will stay on to see the
commencement of the ‘Great Northern’ itself (and maybe come for the Sunday
too) to assess just what the standard of the entries to this competition are like.
The GN competition concludes on Sunday afternoon to be followed by an
Attendee’ Sequence session, whilst the Judges are deliberating on the awards.
This will be followed by the Presentation of the Awards.
The winner of the New Horizons will receive the Sir George & Lady Doreen
Pollock Medal. The Great Northern has Patronage from the PAGB (28-2014)
with Medals and Ribbons. So far we have received generous support from Igor
Kokarev of PicturesToExe for prizes for the New Horizons, and from AKM
Music for prizes for the Great Northern competitions.
