Bill Every FACI
On Sunday 22nd March 2015 Worcestershire Audio Visual Group held their
19th AV Day at Perdiswell Youth Centre, Worcester, an excellent venue.
Our guest speakers, Malcolm Imhoff FRPS and Richard Brown FRPS
viewed the seventeen sequences entered to the morning session, which they
commented on and the audience voted for their choice. The one chosen was
Chairman Bill Every’s ‘Theatre Under the Stars’.
In the afternoon Malcolm, the current National Audio Visual Champion,
having won this award in September 2013, gave his presentation. He is a very
experienced and prolific producer of AV’s having made sequences for thirty
years. Malcolm talked about sound tracks and the thoughts behind them. He
then showed some of his excellent sequences.
Richard, who is an experienced National and International award winner,
then showed the audience a selection of his sequences and inspired us with
his talk on ideas and images. All together it was a very interesting and
entertaining day. The audience when leaving were all asking when we intended
to hold the next one.
Bill thanked the members of the group for all their work in making this such
a successful day and Rob Day the Vice Chairman gave a vote of thanks to our
guest speakers.
