AV News 186 - November 2011
As always members’ sequences were shown first including Cliff Aincham’s
work-in-progress on a north Norfolk village and Chris Noble’s instructive AV
showing how to use different frames (such as windows etc) in a sequence;
this is a useful technique especially if sub-optimum resolution images need
to be brought into a sequence - the key is to save the frame image as a .PNG
file to preserve the transparency where required.
Andy Polakowski showed a digitised version of 'Where No Bird Will Fly'
originally taken on slide film, the soundtrack being produced in the days of
vinyl LPs and reel-to-reel tape recorders, the digitising of the images having
been done with a Bowens Illumitran (with Contrast Control Unit) and full
frame dSLR but clearly still needing more tweaking of the variables.
And so on to the subject of the evening, audio, presented as brief notes.

the noise of the computer fan(s).
