However, this was soon to change when we visited them in Bristol and spent an enjoyable afternoon watching their AV's. Tears followed laughter when the mood changed from comedy, 'The Computer Swallowed Grand-dad', to a beautiful and moving sequence called, 'An Angler's Tribute to a River', (The Avon), and I realized how powerful an AV sequence can be. An example of this - a particular favourite of mine - can be found in Anne's, 'A Drop of Snow'. During the dark, dull days of January suggestions of Spring flow from my lap-top screen when I wander the pathways and steep steps in the Rococo Gardens at Painswick, Gloucestershire and take in the banks of snowdrops beneath the bare trees. All the while I think I am being watched, I am not alone, but from where and by whom? Anne's appropriate use of Vivaldi's Piccolo concerto enhances the scene. I must add that all of the audio visual sequences I have seen, the accompanying music doubles, nay, triples the enjoyment and sends me off to the Music Shop to buy CD's. Page 10
